Nick Shaddick is an academic and artist who adopts multiple positions on the spectrum of sculptor, curator, historian and theorist. His practices address the afterlife of the European modernist unconscious in current neo-colonial and digital contexts. He works amongst symptoms, survivals and erasures, discontinuities and displacements, to transgress ambient historical assumptions of the cyber-realm.
