Four Liberal Cities was a response to the media/political environment of 2024-25. Target models, intentional miniatures of aerial urbicide and incineration that still inhabit British collective memory, anachronistically reimagined within the spectacular language of modern warfare.
The Surviving Object was installed at Unit 2 Gallery, St Leonards on Sea, December 2025.
The cities represented are West European sites, once considered loci of social liberalism, imagined as besieged, devastated or abandoned places.
